Display regular price AND sale price on email confirmation ?

I'm not sure if this is feasible, but I'd like to have our order confirmations email display the regular retail price and the sale price. I don't need complicated calculations to show total order value at retail, but at the minimum, we're wanting our customers to be able to see the "before" and "after" price on EACH line item in the email. Possible? Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Yes this is possible I would modify the includes/classes/orders.php, there are several functions in the includes/functions/functions_prices.php that can help you with this, and bring the correct price in for you.

Thanks for taking the time to point me in the right direction. I'm looking at the file now, but discouraged that it's beyond my abilities. Fortunately, I'm working on a test site so i don't destroy our active one. I'll see what I come up with, but I'm not sure I can figure it out. I'll see what I come up with...

please try checking out once you have made your changes. Also just as a sidenote you may want to considering using some sort of version tracking like github, so you can retrace your steps easily if there is ever an issue
