How to display more categroies on mainpage beside special, featured, and new coming

Hi, I am a newbie for Zen-cart, last month I start fix the our company's website.

now I have no idea how to add or change specific category or sub category on the main page.

For example, I want to display "Flasks" as "Featured products" on main page

is there any plugins to use for that?

Slow Down. You have much bigger problems to solve.
Your page load size is huge, Lots of customers will just leave before it loads.
Your images are all using the same (huge) size for small medium and large.
You really need to optimise your images first before adding anything else.
There is a faq on image optimisation, or just use IH4 to do all that for you.

btw: Featured products are built into the admin.
Admin->Catalog->Featured Products

Thank you for any suggestion, I did not focus on images, I try it at home, is not friendly to pad or mobile. will try IH4 first
