How to get a keyword listed on google and yahoo engines fast?

I have many keywords and I have google upload to its directory and I do it everyday and my site is not listed in the top ten!!
what can I do to change this?

The quickest way to do that is to pay for it, like ad-words, then you will be in the top within hours but your paying big $$.

Anything Else is a longer term solution, but much better
Sitemaps, Great Content, Structured Data/Schema Data.

Anyone who claims they can "guarantee" an SEO result is a con, stay away.

The best way is just ol' Fashion Elbow Grease, and working on your site.

The good old days of getting ranked fast have gone...GOOGLE has caught onto spam.

Fix your onsite, highlight important words in bold (1-2 per page), put your product title in h tags, ensure you have actual written content on the page. Your meta title should also include your keyword. Create alt tags for your images can also help slightly.

Meta Title and Rich Snippets although they may help you get clicks from search engines to your site, do not aid in search engine rankings.

For offsite, build quality links, both raw (wwww.mysite.com) and keyword rich (cheap televisions). Do not use anchor rich links on all of your links, we keep it below 30% and vary the anchors.

These days social media can help with rankings, get an active twitter, g+ and facebook account and get your g+ account linked with authorship.

Rankings will take time unfortunately, you could be waiting 6 months or more so, in the meatime, like the previous poster said, adwords is an immediate solution but the conversion rate and the amount of people searching Google who click these sponsored links is much less.

This is something Zen Cart already does automatically. You can help by making your product titles relevant and keyword-rich. By this I don't mean lots of general words you think might catch attention, but words that are deeply relevant to the product.
