There are no authorize restrictions set in the admin area that I can see, customer (me as a test) is authorized, but the cart will not allow items to be added. Gives me this,

Have a read through the similar threads at bottom of this page. Can you report back even if you do find your solution there as it helps others.

I did a search before I posted - didn't see those other threads before now. Will most certainly report back to help others that have run into this. I might try a re-install to see if that fixes it. I have a test site up that I'm adding any mods to first before adding them to the actual site I'm working on for my client that is just fine - so scratching my head on this.

Checked the other threads - only one them applied to 1.51 and they had a custom cart template. So, was no help. I have not done anything to the cart pages. The mods I've installed are: Add Subject-151, Add_Phone_Number_on_Contact_Us.6, email_archive_manager_1-7b_zc1.5, backup_mysql_plugin_v1-5, ckeditor-412-for-zencart, administration_external_link_mod_v1.1 & About Us page mod

None of these mods should have affected the ability to add an item to the cart.

I had a Whoops issue before. Turned out to be a file , for whatever reason , didnt upload correctly the first time. Wasnt caused by any mod. I think this was 1.3.9 but it should work the same for 1.5. I described how I found the fix here http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.p...-You-are-still. see post 7 & 10. Just a process of elimination

Thanks - just compared with the files that could be causing the problem. I haven't touched those files and I'm seeing them on the server. I think it will just be faster to do a re-install than to continue beating my head on this. The zen cart is new - so it's not like there is much of anything in the database that can't be re-done quickly. Will post back if this solves it to let others know.
