For weeks now I've been undated with spam here's an example

I can't block either the email or ip as it's different every time. Has anyone else suffered this and did they manage to stop it.

Do you know from what page on your site the mails are being send?
If so, check is the zc 1.5.1 updates are still used by that page, because not all templates are updated to zc 1.5.1 code

I had that same problem too. I was getting a lot of spam from the contact us page even though zen cart 1.5.1 is suppose to have a built in anti-spam detection it still got through some how. What I did was add Google reCAPTCHA to the Contact Us and the Create Account pages to stop the automated spam submissions. It has stop all of it.

Thanks for that will try it, I know there is a problem with Abbington Mega and the contact us in the Mega menu but I turned it off and still got hammered so this might just be the answer

Not a zencart solution but our host provides this cPanel filter for intercepting/deleting those emails at the server level. Sorry for the large and bolded font, I just copied/pasted.

Blocking Chinese spam / junk email

The below filter settings may help in discarding Chinese or Japanese type junk email.

Log into cPanel, then see: Account Level Filtering

Filter #1
Create a new filter and give it a name, like:
gb2312

Select Any header and Matches regex
Enter in box:
charset="gb2312"|=\?GB2312\?|charset="ISO-2022-JP"|=\?ISO-2022-JP\?
Select Discard


Filter #2
Create a new filter and give it a name, like:
Chinese character

Select Body contains
Enter in box the chinese character shown at top of this page:
http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E4%B8%8E
Select Discard


The first filter will, in theory, identify and discard all email with the standard Chinese and Japanese character types.

The second filter will, in theory, discard all email with this very common character.
