Hello, first time here, I'm a newbie. I had a flash banner installed and not sure how to add the images and the related text to the images to the homepage on the banner any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated

You should not use the flash on your site from now. It's not good. I think there are a lot of plugins for the banners slideshow in zen cart plugins. Select one and install it.
