Storefront Redirecting to Product Page

Sometime last week my client's v.1.5.1 Zen Cart storefront started redirecting to a product page. I'm pretty sure I didn't change any settings, and the client is pretty sure he didn't either. Is there an Admin setting that would cause this behavior, and if so, where would I find it? .htaccess has not been changed, and the client was able to view the storefront properly last week some time.

Hitting http://www.capitolmusiccenter.com/shop/ (or .../index.php) redirects you to http://www.capitolmusiccenter.com/sh...ucts_id=215875

I am flummoxed.

Could you check to see if you have a Product in the Top Level Categories where the other subcategories are?

Well, wouldn't you know it. It was the very same product. I moved it into the category where it was supposed to go, and now our homepage isn't insane. That would have taken me forever to figure out. Thank you so much!

How is that even possible to have a product in the root category listing and to have products in the category branches? I thought that was something prevented under routine use?

I believe the product mis-categorization was made directly in the database, not through the ZC interface.

I had this happen with a configuration item, layout settings, to show the products on the main page, Categories - Always show on main page. That one can do it as well, and you feel hijacked...

Glad you found your solution, and thought to put the two together.
