    Default New Product notification

I have searched and can find nothing about this - so I'm not sure that it exists, or maybe my search was missing something .

What I was trying to find is a way to automatically notify customers of new products being added to the 'shop' (like the auction site that shall not be named does for favourite sellers).

I realise it can be done using the 'Newsletter' feature, but wondered if any other method/plugin existed which removed the need to do it manually.

There are auto facebook and auto twitter modules which will post a new item to facebook or twitter when added. See the plugins section.

    Thanks,

    Thanks Anne.

Unfortunately I don't use social networking sites - and I suspect the majority of my potential customers won't either
