Default Hosting Company Switch Servers - Now Getting "Hello. Thank you for loading ...

I am with GoDaddy and I was told I needed to switch to their Grid Hosting. They said they would take care of everything and it should take a few hours. I let them do it....After 7 days laters I have all my sites back up with the exception of one Zen Cart Site.

I have checked the Database Name - Password Etc...All are correct, but I can not get past the "Hello. Thank you for loading ... screen. Please help as I am abou to pull my hair out.

GoDaddy says it is not their problem.

I have a bunch of experience with GoDaddy, can you PM me your login info and the address of the site that didn't migrate correctly?

That screen almost always means the path information in one or both of your configure.php files is wrong. Triple check that first. Is it just the store or also admin ?

If the hosting provider just copied the files / database over and called it a day, some very important pieces were probably missed. Consult the instructions for moving Zen Cart to a new server. You may be able to contact your hosting provider and tell them after the move the site is not working (and it was before the move, right?). You can now talk with them armed with a link you can provide to instructions on how to move a Zen Cart installation from one server to another server. Should hopefully trigger a "we will look into it for you".

Now if they are not willing to fix the issue... Well as stevesh pointed out the most common cause is the configure.php files were not updated. In particular the file paths and db server information. Another item to double check are the file and folder permissions (see the section "set permissions on folders" here).

The glass is not half full. The glass is not half empty. The glass is simply too big!
Where are the Zen Cart Debug Logs? Where are the HTTP 500 / Server Error Logs?
