I have read a few threads related to this and I cannot find a solution that works in my case....
I have done an upgrade from 1.3.9 to 1.5.1 and all went well EXCEPT some products are now missing the descriptions in the admin... they show on the site but not in admin.
This isn't ALL products- most though - and when you edit a product that is like this and update it the description gets completely deleted....
Can someone help me fix this?

Not sure what you mean by wish you had seen it earlier, whether lost data or lost time, but if you still have a backup, you could restore the backup and apply the same fix. Originally Posted by TinaS
