    Default Image Handler 2 - Doesn't help with attribute images;

    Hey guys,

    This site is running Zen Cart 1.3.8(a). The previous manager of the site wasn't implementing any type of image resizing capability so all of the images were loading at full size and being forced down by the browser.

    I installed Image Handler 2 which did a great job, for the most part, however it does not affect the special attribute images (say for different product colours) in the Attribute Controller.

    Is there an easy way to manipulate this into Image Handler 2 or a separate plugin that will handle this so that I do not have to go in and code it by hand?

    I'm not all that familiar with Zen Cart... looking to save some time and stress. =)

    Many thanks!

    It is my understanding that the method of showing the image(s) determines how much IH plays. If this plugin or other image displayer is not using ZC routines to display the desired image(s) then IH doesn't know to get involved. Compare the image preparation statement(s) used for the area in question, and a standard display of the image(s) for a default product_info page. Sorry I don't have specific pages in mind, but with a computer in hand shouldn't be too difficult to find examples of how the image reference should be constructed.

    Btw, I would almost think the title of this thread is reversed, attribute images are not written to work with image handler 2. :)
