Warning Message when moving categories

Hello,

I am trying to clean up my long list of main categories and combine some. I have received the moved successfully message on several but have gotten the below message on a couple but they and the products show to be moved. What does it mean that it can be done temporarily? Will they revert back at some point or what?

I believe that message appears when you move products or a category into a category that itself has subcategories.

A category should ONLY have "categories" OR "products" in it, NEVER BOTH

The warning message is there to remind you that you need to further tidy up that category.
