Attributes help needed.

I searched for a solution but I think the reason I may not have found an answers is I am not sure what it is I should be searching for.

Here is what I am trying to do.

I have a product. The product comes in three different sizes:
* 1ft
* 3ft
* 15ft

From reading the boards I found how to properly set up the attributes for this product. What I did not find out is about the shipping on these attributes. For example to ship 15ft of this product will cost more than shipping 1ft of this product, so my question is how do I get the correct shipping for each amount ordered?

You can assign a weight to an attribute, and use the Per Unit shipping option.

Thanks for the info, I searched the boards for "assign weight to an attribute" and nothing came up. Can you point me in the right direction?

In Attributes Controller, when you Add a New Attribute or edit an existing one, there's a section called Prices and Weights where you can assign a weight to an attribute.

I figured it out and I guess we were posting at the same time. I went back to the Attributes controller and that is where I saw the box for weights. Thank you so much for the help I would not have figured it out without your help.
