NEWBIE! Live basket and social links

Hi,
My site is www.electekk.com

You can see on the main header i have just put the social and the basket as an image as part of the main banner.

How can I make these work live?

They are actually part of the header image, that's what I went to change I went them to work not just be an image but I'm not sure how to get the basket and stuff to that location on the site

If your icons are part of one big image (your header) then you are not going to achieve that. Your icons each need to be separate images, then you can link each individual image to their respective destination.

See what I mean, it's all one image.
How were you intent on indicating the totals in your customers basket by using a static image showing £0.00?

You need to remove the icons and cart text from your logo image as picandnix says. Then you can install a "shopping cart in header" mod from Plugins and style/position it to match your example.

The second one probably is more capable of taking detailed CSS styling.

Yes, I put it all as one header for my reference, I know I had to have separate images I just didn't know how to get them on the header, I will have a look at that plug-in
