Missing customer IDs in phpmyadmin

Hi,

Our last customer ID is 21000 (in admin) but in phpmyadmin the customer ID table only goes up to 20500. Can someone explain why customer IDs 20501 to 20999 are missing?

Have you deleted orders?
Have you ever reset the current order ID?
What table are you looking at in phpmyadmin? Did you try sorting it by ordersID?

What other information can you give?
