How exactly one transfers from one database to another.

I am running zencart 1.3.9h and upgrading to.51. This is my first upgrade on my own. I get the concept everything, just not the exact way to transfer from one database to another.

First I installed 1.5.1 in a demo directory, created a new database, and let the installer put the demo data into it. I played with it a bit then started again.

I wasn't sure what all the demo modified so I emptied my demo directory and reinstalled all of the files. I created a new database and I'm stuck.

I'm reading the upgrade instructions at http://www.zen-cart.com/content.php?140 and it says to make a new database and transfer your current database into it for testing. I don't know how to do that. In my cpanel, I used MySQL database to create a new database but I don't see a copy command. So I assume that I need to use myPhpadmin, but I do not know how. Could you please explain how or direct me to some reading material that will help me. I appreciate it.

I just figured it out. It was under Operations in the myPHPadmin. I accessed this through my CPANEL, in case someone else has this problem.
