Hi, I've been playing around with this module, it took me a while and some work to get it going,

But I really don't see the point of it, ok, it's hiding categories, but the items in the categories still show up in the new items, you're only hiding categories, not the items inside the categories, or am I missing something ?

When it's installed correctly it hides the categories and the products, there's a possibility that your site needs another filter applied to whatever page is showing the categories or products.

Can you post an example of where you're seeing the items that should be hidden?

This is a great Plugin! I needed a way to create a custom private catalog for restaurant chain customers, and it looks like this will work.

I'm trying to implement this into a live site. I got everything installed and working only to realize that my site is using the dropMenu contribution by DrByte instead of Category Tabs Menu. How would I go about implementing this with dropMenu? Live site is at www.febcorp.com

I don't have a test site running the drop menu, I'll need to see the code to test where to add the filters. Can you PM/Email your FTP?

Twitch Restrict Categories by Customer or Group for Zen Cart 1.53 will be released shortly!!

This package is designed solely to work with 1.53, if you are using 1.51 please use Twitch Restrict 14.c - Feb 14.2014 the last complete and stable version for 1.51.

Before you release the new package for 1.5.3...

Consider making a filter addition for the secondary modules like new products, all products, features and specials.

My past websites weren't using the all products or new products link/sort/filter. Therefore I never needed to apply the restriction filter... until now.
