zones shipping module: wrong shipping price on checkout page

Hi, I'm having a problem with the shipping module tables (Zones is the only option activated), all values are set correctly, but when I test the cart and go to shipping checkout page the shipping price doesn't correspond to the settings I've inserted in the module... Say I have a product of 650 gr that costs € 27,36, shipping to Italy, for example, should show the following price: 600.0:10.10,800.0:12.30, but I keep getting € 46.80... and I get wrong shipping prices for all others products as well. Zone definitions are set and so are the tare settings, they are both set to 0:0 in admin... what else could be determining such a high price? Is there anything else should be configuring?

Go to the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... and set the Maximum Weight to: 10000

This way your whole Rate break down can work ...

Oh obviously, stupid me! Since 9000 is the max. weight in my table settings it couldn't possibily be '50' in the admin! Thank you Ajeh!

Oddly, I am having a similar problem on my site. ( http://9starmedia.com ) but the maximum weight setting and tare settings mentioned here are not the issue as they are set appropriately.

The shipping (which is based on Zone rates) is being calculated and shown incorrectly when people initially try to checkout. I have had 6 people try to buy the same CD and when they go to checkout it shows the shipping price as $13.00 (which is my price for international shipping) it should be $5.50 for domestic. I have had the problem reported to me from people in California, Virginia and Georgia.

- If they empty their cart and re-add the same item the shipping shows correctly.
- If they log out and re-login the price shows correctly.
- If they change the quantity to 2 the price drops back down and then when they go back to 1 it is correct.

I haven't been able to replicate the error... but it is definitely happening for customers. What could be causing this?

I have had it happen with 2 different products so far.. these are our more popular ones so it may not be limited to them:

SHIPPING / PACKING SETTINGS:
Country of Origin = United States
Postal Code = 91101
Enter the Maximum Package Weight you will ship = 1000 (I upped this number from 50 earlier today.. but no customer had ordered anything near 50)
Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight 0:0
Larger packages - added packaging percentage:weight 0:0

To me the weird part is how on the checkout page it shows 2 different shipping rates at the same time. $13 below the cart contents and $5.50 below the shipping address. Then if they remove the item and add it back in the price below the cart contents goes to $5.50!
