Predefined suggestions for each item

I am having a difficult time finding a solution to this issue.
I would like to promote items from my store that I can control when my customers buy one item.
I have been selling organic bath products for 28 years now, and have decided to step into the realm of online sales. And doing it all myself. (We are a small show, and I cant do the things that have been marketed to me, so that is why I have gone with Zencart.)
I would like to be able to promote an item that is an accent to one that my customers order.
Lets say they place an order for out Cafe Mocha Bath Bombs. Almost all on my walk in customers will pick up a Banana Bath Melt, or a Cherry Candle, or even the same scent Sugar Scrub.
I would like to be able to predefine the items that are displayed before the item is added to the cart, as well as after.
I have been looking, and I am told that the best way to do this is to write/have written for my needs with a custom job. Again, not that flush at the moment to be able to get something like that.
Is there something that I can use that would do this for me that I can download that is not too complicated for me to be able to set up?

There's also one that's called "Related Products" that's pretty simple and might fit your needs.
