Free shipping for Australia and rest of the World charge Shipping w/AU post

Hi

Which shipping modules and how do I setup so that:

1. All products sent within Australia is FREE regardless weight or quantity.
and
2. All products sent to the rest of the WORLD use normal shipping rates using Australia Post rates (austpost)


I have all the zones installed and I have all the Australian states are installed as zones.

Can someone please explain clearly?

Note: My 'FREE SHIPPING! freeshipper' worked fine but how do I ship rest of the world at least to these countries?

1: USA
2: Canada
3: Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, France, Germany, Greenland, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Holland/Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Portugal, Israel, Greece
4: Japan, New Zealand, Singapore
5: Taiwan, China, Hong Kong

This is not a bump but I am so surprised that there is no answer to this shipping problem which I am sure many also would like to know.

Are you marking all of your Products as Always Free Shipping just to display the Free Shipping?

Have you tried installing Flat Rate flat and add a Zone on it for Australia then set the amount to 0.00 ...

Then, make a Zone for the rest of the world and put it on your Australia Post rates austpost ...

Are you marking all of your Products as Always Free Shipping just to display the Free Shipping? >>> YES because I do want to display this free shipping icon ( thinking loud now ..I just realised this can not be used as can me misleading for overseas buyers. So I should not use the 'free shipping icon' instead indicate somewhere that 'Free shipping only within Australia' . So this would make 'Products as Always Free Shipping' redundant therefore I should change to default shipping settings for all products

None of your products should be set to "Always Free Shipping". Unset that.

Then follow Ajeh's advice and

1. assign Flat Rate = $0.00 to Australia only (you could rename 'Flat Rate' to 'Free Domestic Shipping' in the language file to reflect that)

2. use zone rates (or whatever is available in your austpost module) and set that to "Rest of the World" whilst skipping AU.

Unless you have any other shipping modules installed/activated then this should work out of the box.

Ok I have set one of the products to

0. 'austpost' does not have 'Zones' (to select 'World' and anything else) ..oops just saw 'ERROR: module not loaded due to missing language file: /home/xxxxx/public_html/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/aupostoverseas.php' this may be the problem.. I'll check in the mean time .

1. 'No<Normal Shipping Rules'
2. Registered as Canadian customer with the country 'Canada'
3. Created two Zone Definitions - 1. Australia and 2. World
4. Create two different tax classes to suit each zone (tax set to $0.00)
5. Create Tax rates (0.00%)
6. Installed Australia Post with 'Aupost' API Key:xxxxx . everything left at default settings on the column.
7. Installed 'Flat Rate' and set the shipping Cost = $0.00
8. Set 'Flat Rate' 'Shipping Zone ' to 'Australia'
9. Enabled 'Configurations > Shipping & Packing > Shipping Estimator Display Settings for Shopping Cart > 1
