Categories Heading text

Good day,
I have been pulling out my hair out trying to figure this out so I thought I'd ask. I have graphical headings for my categories place I have put in <img> tags in my category description, so I want to disable the text of the category heading when the description is set. Where would I change this? I would have thought tpl_index_product_listing.tpl but I don't see it there.

What you want is like Images for Titles in Plugins. You could adapt the code from that to apply to the category name in the product listing page.
