Put in a ticket with your hosting provider and tell them that you are receiving that error when trying to communicate with USPS and see if they have any ideas about this error that you are receiving.

well, we are actually the hosting company for this client...My tech guys have no idea....USPS has no idea....Thats why we are reaching out to you guys, since you are the 3rd party software the client is using?
We really need to resolve this...What do you see from the logs???Please help. Thanks
Reading your logs, I see the same error you do in your logs and that is not telling me anything other than it appears to be getting that error code ...
Out of curiosity, if you switch to the Test Server, do you get the same error?
If you switch back to the USPS Version: 2013-07-28 J5, and do the REMOVE, INSTALL and reconfigure, do you get the same error on both the Production and Test server?

Another thing thats happening is........the cart sets all products weight to 15lb???
and the cart total (even if i order soemthing for $5) defaluts to $330
When we switch to test mode the USPS module generates 2 rates Priority and Express, BUT based on a 15lb product.....for some reason the cart has just started defaulting all products to 15lb....
and no matter what i order, the total of the cart is $330.99!!!!
And the cart is no longer generating logs?
Soemthing is going really wrong here...Any way we can chat?
Oddly, I just retried your Webtools ID on my site and now it looks like USPS is not accepting it as if it needs to be activated for the Production Server ...
It does work on the Test Server ...
You may wish to call USPS and have them activate your account again for the Production Server ...
