    Default Add To Cart button Not Working

    Hi All,

    on our Product Listing page where we allow customers to type qty's of products in a list and then hit Add to Cart to add them all at once, When you click the Add to Cart button, it will refresh the page and act like it is adding, but then nothing is added to the cart.

    When we go to individual products, you're able to add to cart fine...

    I've compared the code to the Classic template and I don't see any differences that would be making this non functional..

    Help?

    Currently using v1.3.9h

    I would first check your file:
    /includes/configure.php

    Do you have this set to run your site as SSL?

    I find moving through your site it switches to SSL rather than allow Zen Cart to decide when you need secure pages or not ...

    If you switch to the Classic Template, does it still have this issue?

    I cannot repeat the problem as trying to add to cart on the listings adds nothing to the cart ...

    In our Configure.php it does have the SSL enabled.

    I will switch the template on our dev site to classic and see if it still has the issue or not.

    While you may have it enabled, do you have both of these set to https?
    Code:
      define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.your_domain_here.com');
      define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.your_domain_here.com');

    This is what we have:

    Code:
      // HTTP_SERVER is your Main webserver: eg-http://www.your_domain.com
      // HTTPS_SERVER is your Secure webserver: eg-https://www.your_domain.com
      define('HTTP_SERVER', 'https://launchingsuccess.com/store');
      define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.launchingsuccess.com/store');

      // Use secure webserver for checkout procedure?
      define('ENABLE_SSL', 'true');

    On our DEV site, when I enable any of the other themes, they all work, but with the currant theme, it doesn't.. so it appears to very definitely be in the theme that our old developer created.. But as this is the first time I've used ZenCart specifically, I'm not 100% on where to be looking to fix it.

    I would suggest that you post your whole files for:
    /includes/configure.php
    /your_secret_admin/includes/configure.php

    WARNING: Do NOT post your secret admin directory name, username and password ...

    From what I can see, there are several things wrong with them ...

    These should read:
    Code:
      define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.your_domain_name.com');
      define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.your_domain_name.com');
    These should read:
    Code:
      define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/store/');
      define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/store/');

    These should read:
    Code:
      define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.your_domain_name.com');
      define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.your_domain_name.com');
      define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://www.your_domain_name.com');
      define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://www.your_domain_name.com');
    These should read:
    Code:
      define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/store/your_secret_admin/');
      define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/store/');
      define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_ADMIN', '/store/your_secret_admin/');
      define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/store/');

    I prefer to use for this on both files:
    Code:
      define('SQL_CACHE_METHOD', 'database');

    Part of your site uses www.your_domain_name.com and part of your site uses your_domain_name.com ...

    You need to use one or the other on your site and not mix them up ...

    Check your configure.php files and make sure only one or the other are configured ...
