Help with shipping cost and weights

Here is an issue I am trying to figure out using shipping cost by weight.

I have some window decals that I am going to have in my store that will fit in a normal size envelope and it will only cost the price of shipping an envelope.

I also have other items that are larger and I am going to us flat rate shipping on those items.

I thought about using shipping by weight but I don’t see a way of doing this because some of the other items that I am going to have will be larger than the window decals but there are going to weight about the same. I cannot see how I can this when there both going to weigh the same but one will not fit in the envelope.

How can I set it so that if a customer only orders the window stickers it will only charge them the price of an envelope? But if they order the larger item it will charge them a different price?

I don't know how many sizes and/or weight combinations you might have but you can set weight not to display
Then group your products and give them a false weight that will allow you to price shipping as you wish

That did cross my mind but I could not figure out how to keep weights from displaying. How do I do that?

I figured out how to hide the weight.
