rel="canonical" help

Still have 1.38a. I have so much custom it hard to upgrade. I downloaded the addon for rel="canonical". It works fine to set it to the same page. But how do I set to other pages. For example, if I have pages A, B and C and I want them all to rel="canonical" to A?

To follow up, it sometimes goes to different pages. But how do I control the page it goes to?
