WeBid syncronization

First, I attempted to ask this in the General category, but wasn't given a field to ask question. So here's the question: there's open source software named WeBid that enables bidding on items. I'd like to add that to my Zen Cart so that the selection of certain "products" delivers the user into the WeBid application, and when their bid is complete, they return smoothly to Zen Cart. Is this theoretically possible. Has it been done. What contractor would you recommend if you believe the process is possible?
