I have a client who is selling products with multiple attributes [10+]. They had someone who was about 50% done with the site, then disappeared.

Anyway I have a pretty good idea of how to streamline things in a bit of a better way than currently exists but would love some ideas from the more experienced Zenners out there.

The client sells custom decorated products.
Products:
  • are available in set bulk quantities with varying prices.
  • are available in multiple colors
  • have 10+ attributes the customer must interact with
  • ship from various locations
  • are available to be ordered as a sample


Currently, the product pricing grid was manually added into the product descriptions.
The 10+ attributes are manually added to each product.
Shipping has not been figured out as items ship from different manufacturers, have different weights, and depending on quantity are shipped via multiple boxes.
Ordering a one-off sample of an item has not been figured out yet other than duplicating all existing products.

The client would like to be able to update all products and info via CSV file. This would include the bulk quantity/pricing, colors/sizes/etc...

Easy Populate 4 would be a good start but will probably involve custom programming to handle all the extras
I'm sure there has to be a module to handle the pricing grid, or perhaps that should be made into attributes as well?
I'm not sure how to handle the sample aspect yet
Shipping is the lowest priority as of right now
