Odd Problems with one Order Missing and One totaling incorrect.

Well, I have a missing order. PP went through fine but I cannot locate the order or the transaction ID in any of the database files (checked back office first and did not find anything) via SQL. I have only an amount, PP transaction ID and the zenID from PP. There are NO order numbers skipped period. How do I go about looking further than looking for the last name in the order tables and the PP Transaction number in the PP tables??

As for the Subtotal and Totals, the amounts listed in the Admin do not match. If you add up the extended amounts, the total is off by over $13? How would I go about looking for this problem??

I did check my PP info in the Payment Module to make sure that has not been hacked.

PP Standard and I do have debug mode active.

The weird issue is that BOTH of these problems are the SAME customer and under two different orders.

I was hoping that I could look back through the IPN numbers at PP but I can only go back 28 days

I am really worried that I have other problems like this that I am not aware of.

The usual recommendation for problems like this is to switch to the much-more-reliable Paypal Express.

You probably can't. As I understand it, this error results from a failure in communication between Paypal's server and yours. Express uses a different communication method.

That leaves me with two bad choices...leave it as it is and deal with the possibilites. OR use the new system that my customers complain about since they cannot ship to anywhere but a verified PP address....

I'm not sure if this is what you're referring to, but there's this in the Paypal Express configuration in admin:

Express Checkout: Require Confirmed Address
Do you want to require that your (not-logged-in) customers use a *confirmed* address when choosing their shipping address in PayPal?
(this is ignored for logged-in customers)
