    Just as a quick fix we disabled the new products on the main screen then only allow the featured products that we want to be displayed.

    see how we go.

    Thanks Twitchtoo

    That is kinda over kill, don't you think?

    You could just customize the modules using your templates and overrides directory for the center boxes, example for the Featured Centerbox:
    /includes/modules/featured_products.php

    and copy that to your templates and overrides directory:
    /includes/modules/your_templates_dir/featured_products.php

    Code:
    // bof: Do not display categories_id 10 on home page
    if ($this_is_home_page) {
      $featured_products_query .= " and p.master_categories_id != 10";
    }
    // eof: Do not display categories_id 10 on home page
    if ($featured_products_query != '') $featured_products = $db->ExecuteRandomMulti($featured_products_query, MAX_DISPLAY_SEARCH_RESULTS_FEATURED);
    Just change 10 to your categories_id ...

    See if you are able to adapt that for your other centerboxes or else give a yell ...

    It's important to recognize some stores can hide products with bandaide solutions/hacks or hide them at higher levels to ensure no one has access through search/google etc. Tenthilltoys has requested help with the Twitch modules in the past... therefore my question.

    I guess I am failing to see how either of those add ons have any relevance to or control over
    this issue ...

    If the Twitch modules were installed properly as tenthilltoys originally intended to do, there would be no issue, and no bandaides needed.

    Waiting for the OP to respond is likely more effective than furthering this discussion at this point.

    Which add on do you think controls the centerboxes on the home page? Maybe I am just totally not seeing this in your addons ...

    Pete,

    Ajeh's post (#5) would be the simplest and easiest way to go. I have the day off and could have a chat later today - check your PM.

    Cheers / Frank (from up the road )
