If you are not using 'pretty urls', you can get the URL from the admin. Simply navigate to the category in your Zencart admin and view the URL.
e.g. back end admin url
http://<your domain>/admin/categories.php?cPath=1_17
front end:
http://<your domain>/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_17
