Hey guys. I'm using Zencart v151 for my site (http://www.rentgen.co.uk), along with the latest versions of CEON URI Mapping and a plugin called News & Article Management for Zen Cart v2.110 - which is designed for an older version of Zencart - but after following the support thread for the plugin - I managed to make it work with the current version I have.
The site was working how I wanted it to before - with the News summary showing on the front page (though all links for the News module had to be edited in SQL to work with CEON), but for absolutely no reason (I think!) the website has removed the News Summary feed module on the front page. I have made no changes to the site - aside from changing the Google Analytics Account ID (which uses it's own plugin). The news pages themselves still work fine and I can still post articles!
Is there any reason why this may have happened? After I noticed it was missing, I did have an issue with the webhost the day after, where the files of the FTP seemingly vanished and it wouldn't recognise the upload of my backup.. but then it showed all the files and folders again.. and was functioning like it was before. The control panel for my webhost still says '0mb' used however.. I've also tried uploading an earlier backup but to no avail, so I'm guessing this might be a database error? (The PHP files have been untouched)
What would be even better is a suitable up-to-date alternative to posting news/blog entries on a Zencart page, (I tried Wordpress implementation - it didn't seem to work properly)
