How to hide product descriptions from manufacturer section pages

Hi,

Is it possible to stop the manufacturer section page serving up some of the description on the product layouts on that page?

I think it's causing some seo problem, but I don't want to block google from those pages.

I believe this is what you are after:

In your admin ->Configuration ->Product Listing
Display Product Description 0

This takes the product description off of the main page but still allows you to view the description if you click on the product for more information.

Yeah i knew about this one but it removes the descriptions from all section pages, not just the manufacturers, is there no way of doing it just for the manufacturer section pages?
