Upcoming Procucts and Best Sellers Pages

Man for such a simple request there seems to be no solution for these in Zen Cart. Please prove me wrong.

I am using Zen Cart v1.5.1

I don't want sidebar boxes. I want pages. Pages that I can have links to in my header navigation.
one for "UPCOMING PRODUCTS" aka"COMING SOON" and another page that generates by "BEST SELLERS". I've seen this done in other carts without problems but this seems to be the endless pipe dream for Zen Cart. Can anyone help me find the plug in or any other solution that doesn't require me to manually hard code pages via EZ-Pages? I've spent hours searching and haven't found the suitable solution. It's 2014 sites are supposed to by dynamic by now.

There is an Plugin add on for adding /page files that would give you a start on doing this ...

I do not believe something has been written yet for pages for these two things ...

DO you think that that 1.3.8 version would work with 1.5.1?
I'm kinda shocked that both of these functions have never been developed. Aren't you?

I honestly do not know as I have never used it ...

If I get time, I will try to install it and see ...
