Hide some attributes from product info display.

I got products with two kinds of attributes. One are zip file that customers can download after he buy it and second type is the license type.
Choosing licences type also change the price. I do not think customers need to see that my products got 7 multiple zip file and want to disable this attributes. What I already tried:
in
tpl_product_info_display.php I remove the section about attributes but this affected all attributes. And I want to hide only one kind of attributes and let the customers choose the license. Also in configuration->product info there is not option to disable just some attributes. Is there is way to hide only some attributes ? Maybe someone had similar problem? Please help me.

They are pretty large. Mostly 100 MB or more.Its graphic files and many in one zip. I need this attributes as mostly ...if not ALL products are downloadable in my store. I do not want to have :

download2
download3 ect...sometimes till 7 download. It looks stupid. But if I disable attributes from tpl_product_info_display.php I also can not see the second kind of attribute with licenses to choose. And this have to be visible. Any ideas?

How does one download a file if the download attributes will not be visible?

(Solution for hiding the attribute option(s) from the common website visitor would be to use css to hide the attributes that meet a particular designation there are examples throughout the site.) Something important though (and I have not looked at your site yet) would be to ensure that either to select a default option if there will only be one item to display, or to ensure the guest is forced to pick an option before the item can be added to the cart.)

I assume from the description that the license is presented based on the file(s) that are also present?

I want to hide them from product page where the product are describe. After buying the customer get the file anyway and can see it in his busket.
Choosing a license do not change file that are delivered. Just the way you can work with them. And the price change. You get the same product/files and only got other license which is known to the customers who are buying the items. The download files are always the same. Thank you for answer. I am not sure it is going to help me. I am not very skilled in css...not so much to play with the attributes. Not sure where to start?
About download files. I know it is working this way kobra. Just why it says Please Choose if the customer can not choose any of these files anyway? The are just delivered with the product. I find in Configuration- Maximum Values something like: "Products Attributes - Option Names and Values Display
Maximum number of option names and values to display in the products attributes page" but changing this number which is now set to 20 do not change anything at the product listing page.

Use the mod called Flexible Attributes. It will give you control to hide a particular atribute set with css. The instructions give examples and explains how to use it. Bascially after you merge in the files to your store, check the id of the attribute and put that with display none. This will in effect hide it from your product pages. Simplest way to do it in my opinion.
