    Default Prices displaying incorrectly

This is for a shop with only 15 products but has quantity discounts. An item that costs $7.95 has quantity discounts when purchased in quantities of 5, 24 or 50 which are the only options (attributes)

    1) I setup a Product Option as: quantity and gave it a dropdown feature.
    2) I gave it Option Values of 1, 5, 24 and 50
    3) Under Attribute Controller I selected the category item and hit display.
    4) I chose the Option Name and the Values from the Adding New Attributes box and hit Insert.
    5) They are displayed as:

    quantity 1 7.95
    quantity 5 35.95
    quantity 24 171.95
    quantity 50 334.95

Haven't touched the Price Factor or Offset but I did remove the '+' in the box just before the Price box.

In the online catalog for the item I would like the dropdown to display the total price for the 4 options in the dropdown. What it is doing now is adding $7.95 to the item when a quantity of 5 is selected. So instead of being $35.95 it is charging $43.90 etc.

    How do I fix this?

Have you considered this rather than doing the discounts through attributes?

I'd like to do this as a drop down menu.

While I haven't researched what it would take to apply/modify the plugin suggested by stevesh to provide dropdowns, on the original issue, what is/was the price applied to the product's listing while the other options are present? Is it 0 or 7.95?

Ask because the instructions provided in the FAQ/wiki lead to the results you are looking for, but it appears that something isn't/wasn't set right. Having looked at the description of the plugin I think it is a good solution overall, but it appears to not meet the style of presentation desired without further modification.

If I understand your original post, you would need to set the products to Price by Attribute, then assign the proper price to each attribute.

See if this works as a solution to your dilemma:
Edit product to display Products Price (Net): 0.0000
Set Product Priced by Attributes: No

Add the + back in to Price Prefix in your Prices and Weights in the attributes controller.
Continue with the data you have entered.

    Hope that helps,

It is set to $7.95 so that you can choose an option of 1 each.
