Error adding new Manufacturers

Whenever I add new manufacturers I am getting the following error (it was working a few days ago and now has suddenly stopped)

Not Acceptable

An appropriate representation of the requested resource mydomain/zcadmin/manufacturers.php could not be found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

What changed? ("nothing" is not an acceptable answer. If nothing changed, there wouldn't be a problem)

Rod if I knew then I would backtrack and fix it.
I have been adding images to the shop, all the design work was complete, so nothing backend had changed when this happened, prior to this I had added 3 new manufacturers. A few times I tried to upload a image with unaccepted characters i.e. an apostrophe and I got this error...I can't think of much else which happened around the same time.

How do you suggest I fix it? I tried replacing the manufacturers.php file with an old one but it made no difference.

I've not found anything specific to ZenCart about this problem, but here's a couple of links I found that should lead you in the right direction.

Since it appears related to mod_security you may need to get your hosting provider to help with a solution.

If it's mod_security that's blocking you (and I agree that that's probably it), then it's because whatever you typed in is violating some rules your hosting company has in their mod_security settings (whether they put them there intentionally or just got them added because of automatic updates on their server).

The most common cause of that is using SQL statement words like UPDATE or SELECT or INSERT as part of what you're entering.

So ... maybe try changing whatever you're typing in.
