    Default Blank page when customer edit shipping address during Checkout

    Hi Zencart,

    My customer's zencart environment:
    - Version 1.3.8a (they don't want to update).
    - PayPal Payment Pro

    Problem: customer gets a white page during checkout when attempts to change the ship to address during the checkout process.

    Please help.

    blank page means error log... For ZC less than or equal to 1.5.0 check the cache directory for the error(s) that appear at that action. May also want to consider if/what has changed recently (PHP version) and the possible need to upgrade. If nothing else your client should be notified that any version less than 1.3.9.h is very insecure (for them and their clients)...

    A few months ago I had a client who came to me with a request for some modifications. After checking the site and realizing they still use 1.3.8a, I told them they first need to upgrade to at least 1.3.9h, although would be better to go with 1.5.1. They said they simply don't want to upgrade. I calmly replied "then I simply don't want to work on your site because I simply don't want to be a part of your gambling with sensitive customer information." 2 weeks later they decided to upgrade...
    You really need to get them to understand what they are doing and that they are intentionally risking compromising their customer information (or even worse, their credit card information). 1.3.8a is very vulnerable and easily hacked - which is quite normal since it was outdated 4 years ago.

    As mc12345678 suggested, you should have error logs in your cache directory. If not, check to see if Debug Error Utility is installed. If not, download it, install it, repeat the process to get that blank page and then check error logs to see what's causing it.
