Where can I find the PHP 5.4.x Patch for ZC 1.5.1?

Hi all,

Since some reason of my hosting MySQL DB is old.
I can't install ZC 1.5.3 on it.

But I see this
Zen Cart v1.5.1 is compatible with PHP 5.2.14 thru PHP 5.3.x. Requires some patches to work with PHP 5.4, and upgrading is a better idea.

I am wonder, where the patch I can download for my ZC 1.5.1 than hosting on a server with PHP 5.4.30?

PHP and MySQL are unrelated.

Hi RodG,

MySQL 5.0.96, it miss the mysqli, so I guess it is why ZC 1.5.3 can't pass when install.

But ZC 1.5.1 can passed!

If ask for upgrade to MySQL 5.5 or up, I am afraid my other web site that still using ZC 1.3.7.1 and 1.3.9h will not work too.

Now I am speeding up my all ZC 1.3.7.1 and ZC 1.3.9h upgrade to ZC 1.5.1 at least ...

Actually, the hosting accident upgraded from PHP 5.3.x to PHP 5.4.30 too... it is not what I hope to ....

So now my all ZC 1.3.7.1 and ZC 1.3.9h site also running on this special environment

PHP 5.4.30 + MySQL 5.0.96 >.<

They said can't control the cPanel PHP version downgrade to PHP 5.3.x etc ...

If your server has PHP 5.4.30 then it's VERY UNUSUAL to have a very old incompatible MySQL version.

You should be asking your hosting company to update the server software.

But, do you can help for confirm that ..

ZC 1.3.7.1 can running on MySQL 5.5??

I thiking my hosting only can go for this, not MySQL 5.1.x

they said using cPanel, it can't control what version PHP and MySQL ...

I am also worry once upgraded, it will broke all my shop (at least 10 shop on this special version server (special mean now running PHP 5.4.30 with MySQL 5.0.96)) ... and my oldest ZC is 1.3.7.1 >.<

Only can go to the latest version if upgrade ...

Yes, upgrading the server software will prevent your older stores from operating and they should be upgraded. (They should have been upgraded long ago.)

It appears that there is an upgrade path to some extent with the two software items of PHP and mySQL. If all of the stores follow that upgrade path, then they could be kept operational while the upgrades occur, otherwise all stores would need to be upgraded on a different server environment and once all were as desired, the server environment upgraded and all of the sites restored to normal operation. They would be out possibly for an hour or a little more if doing all the work on your own (testing, verification, etc.) I would suspect.

But really need to upgrade the older sites and I would start with those as my recommendation.

Thank you. I am now full power upgrade the 10 site one by one as soon as possible.
Plus at the same time reading the /cache folder see any MyDebug logging and flight with them first if find any ...

At least the ZC 1.3.7.1 shop now still running ...
