An FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program allows you to move files back and forth between your server where you have Zencart installed and your local computer. Many use a program called Filezilla, and I use a Firefox plugin called FireFTP. You'll need an FTP program and a good text editor to do much with Zencart.

You could also search the Web for 'ftp' for information and tutorials on how to use this essential tool.
