I checked and both the /includes/configure.php file and the /includes/functions/password_funcs.php

are there.

After fixing the issue(s) listed ...

Delete all of the files in /logs that start with:
myDEBUG

Then try going to the Modules ... Shipping ... in your Zen Cart Admin and check the /logs (be sure to refresh the directory to see new files) to see if any debug logs are generated ...

If so, post them here ...

I did the two fixes suggested (yours and the doctors).
no change to the Shipping Modules page as far as appearance (yet).

new /logs/myDEBUG log file is one line:

Look and see if you have a copy of the file:
/includes/modules/shipping/usps.php

NOTE: if you want to make a copy use the naming convention of:
/includes/modules/shipping/usps.php_SOMETHING

and not:
/includes/modules/shipping/usps_SOMETHING.php

as the modules directories are "auto loading" and will load any files that end in .php ...

Oh my god! that did it. I had saved original usps.php as usps-old.php. I changed both /languages and /modules dirs and removed the old file and saved to my computer.

Shipping Modules is now back to normal, showing the right panel and USPS, Zone Rates, etc.

So I did another test and the less expensive two shipping options still don't show. see attached:

I have selected 4 shipping methods: 1st class parcel, standard post, priority, and priority express. You can see that only the last two methods show.

I made up a fake registration as a Canadian (international) customer.

I put in a 3.0 lb test product in the cart.

I have selected 3 international methods: 1st class package int'l service, priority intl and priority express intl.

Only the two more expensive shipping methods display, so same problem as US shipping:


Are the Configuration -> Shipping/Packaging settings affecting this?
Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight 0:2
Larger packages - added packaging percentage:weight 10:0

Keep in mind, that a 3lb product will not ship as First Class as First Class is 13oz or less ...

Standard Post will only show, based on the USPS Zones ... these have changed with their changes made this year ...

Example: shipping from 44026 Ohio to 44026 Ohio will not show Standard Post, but shipping from 44026 Ohio to 33136 Florida will show it ...

You can force Standard Post, but then the other shipping methods will not show ...

Weights are also affected based on your Tare Rates ... if you do not want extra weight added to the Product, then set both Tare Rates to 0:0 ...

I think setting the Tare Rates to 0:0 did the trick. I am now seeing 1st class parcel for both US and Canada shipping.
