Admin Login Problems

Hi,

We seem to have an issue with an unknown/forgotten admin password.

I have implemented the database modification suggested in the appropriate FAQ, however now I get the error:

"NOTE: Your password has expired. Please select a new password. Your password must contain both NUMBERS and LETTERS and minimum 7 characters. Passwords must contain both letters and numbers, must be at least 7 characters long, and must not be the same as the last 4 passwords used. Passwords expire every 90 days."

I have attempted to change the password via the change panel presented but the change does not take (altho it "appears" to - ie the error msg goes away and it reverts to the normal admin login panel - a check of the db show no change).

As the inserted encripted password described in the FAQ (ie. "admin") fails the 7 character test and has no numbers I suspect that this might be the issue - so I am looking for a temporary encripted password with 7+ characters including some numbers.

Perhaps it is something else?? - it has been working fine for a year or two...
