Dropshipping questions

Hi.. Totally new to this and was wondering before I download Zen Cart and set everything up - I'd like to know if Zen Cart has basic drop shipping capabilities? Or do you have to use third party modules for drop shipping. I think my needs are basic for a drop shipper - multiple vendor, different price points and each using different shipping clients (UPS and USPS).

There is no dropshipping ability built in to Zencart. There is at least one commercial mod which I believe offers that function.

No, that's a set of core files on which you can build your own dropshipping module. The commercial mod I mentioned is Ceons Advanced Shipper.

I haven't used it, but there are many posts about it in the forums.

May need to look for jsweb instead of ceon.

ceon's advanced shipper doesnt work out of the box, nor is it being supported by jsweb

You could also try the Dropship Core plugin (I haven't used it).
