I installed Clyde's contribution on a local test site; here are the differences:
  1. javascript (6KB) vs. jQuery (1KB)
  2. The selections actually scroll, rather than simply changing the image at a defined rate
  3. Replaces existing sideboxes, rather than providing additional ones
  4. Includes best-sellers, which is on my list ...
