Default Using category images with no category names

I would like to have some categories only represented with a picture and not an actual category name. This is easy to do when creating the category, but then when I look at the list of categories in the admin they all have no name listed and I cannot tell the difference between the categories in admin. Is there a way to have a name that only shows up in the admin but not on the web page or is there another way to do this?

    Thanks

You could add a module like Admin Display ProductCatalog Thumbnails to see images instead of a name.

    Naming standards are important.

    Hope that helps,

While a solution appears to have been found, there are a few things that could be done to allow entry of the name in admin and have it not display on the store.

Use css on the store side to hide the text through the use of stylesheets.
Could add code and a database constant to control this functionality.

There are other ways I'm sure, some easier to implement or understand than others.

Yes, I agree. It is much better to just use some css to hide the category names on the front end. But, if you remove category names you will be losing keywords and text on the page which google likes.

    Thanks,

    Anne
