Upgrading from an old version!

Can I go from 1.3.7 to 1.5.? ??? Or is it best to say go to 1.3.9 first? Probably a dumb question but after the hack I am nervous.

Your database can, but ideally you would determine what there is about the old cart's functionality you would like to keep and find the plugins that support that on your new version and then build from there... Otherwise the path has been to upgrade to 1.3.9h then into 1.5.x, but might as well just put together anew.

Whatever works for you, but pretty much double the time involved if updating the software twice.

Be sure to make a complete backup of your database. In the *worst* case scenario all of the ZenCart files can be easily replaced or redone.
The stuff in the database contains all of your products and customer data, and other than a backup there is no way to replace this stuff.

OK.... I have another stupid question, I dont really see a thread here that has instructions persay of how to go about the upgrade. All that should really be affected is the main files? Really what you have to put back is the INCLUDES folders and the IMAGE folders?
