Default United States Postal Service Flat Rate Box Set Up

    Hello all.

On my site, I sell just 1 product, and ship only with USPS Flat Rate Shipping. I have recently installed this mod to alleviate the under-payment of shipping to international customers. About 50% of my orders are international.

Since I only sell 1 item, I use the following shipping method:

Small Flat Rate = 1 to 6 items
Medium Flat Rate = 7 to 14 items
Medium Flat Rate = 1 case (15 items)
Large Flat Rate = 2 cases (30 items)

Since this mod is based on weight, and my sight is already set up with each product a separate weight, I figured it would be a piece of cake:

    1 item = 1.5
    15 item (1 case) = 15
    30 items (2 cases) = 20

This seems to work with my current per unit shipping method, but I get shorted on International orders.

I have a new API username from USPS.

On the Shipping Methods section, I have selected ONLY the following:

    Priority Small Flat Rate Box = MIN = 1 MAX = 9
    Priority Medium Flat Rate Box = MIN = 10 MAX = 19
    Priority Large Flat Rate Box = MIN = 20 MAX = 100

Priority Intl Small Flat Rate Box = MIN = 1 MAX = 9
Priority Intl Medium Flat Rate Box = MIN = 10 MAX = 19
Priority Intl Large Flat Rate Box = MIN = 20 MAX = 100

I have a fake customer with a US address, and one with a Canadian address.

When I log in with a US user/pass, it seems to get the appropriate shipping info.

When I log in with a Canada user/pass, it does not calculate the shipping at all - no shipping options are displayed.

I verified my zip code is correct in Config > My Store and Config > Shipping/Packaging

Can anyone possibly see anything I'm doing wrong?

I also have debug enabled - email. I receive an e-mail each time I attempt an order, but I can't make heads or tails of it.

    Thanks for any help.
    -Scott

Could you edit the USPS shipping modules settings and turn on the Debug Log ...

Then try a quote that you say is not work ...

Next, look in the /logs (/cache in older versions of Zen Cart) and Zip the shipping log(s) that you find and attach them to your post ...

    You are showing settings of:
Priority Mail InternationalRM Small Flat Rate Box - min: 1 max: 9 handling: 2.00
Priority Mail InternationalRM Medium Flat Rate Box - min: 10 max: 22 handling: 2.00
Priority Mail InternationalRM Large Flat Rate Box - min: 23 max: 100 handling: 2.00
But if you look at these on the USPS website, you will notice all are set to maximum weight of 20lbs ...

Also, can you Zip your existing file, from the server, for:
    /inlcudes/modules/shipping/usps.php

and attach it to your post as a ZIP file? Something just looks odd about it on the width, length and height settings ...

I can modify my weight for each item if necessary - however it works for Priority Mail Flat Rate with the US, just doesn't work for Priority Mail International.

I have not modified the usps.php file, just unzipped and uploaded.

I would adjust your weight settings in the USPS shipping module as the boxes maximum show as maximum of 4lbs for Small and maximum 20lbs for Medium and Large on USPS site:
    http://postcalc.usps.com/

Using settings outside their limits will cause issues ...
