Will I need A Plug In

I have just installed zencart and I will need to add multiple users and set certain permissions for them, will I need to upload a addon or plug in to achieve this?

If not where wil I need to do this within the admin section.

Assuming that you've installed Zen Cart v1.5.0 or later, you can use the Admin Profiled feature to set permissions for your admins.

@lat9 means the built-in Admin Profiles feature! No plugin needed.

If using version 1.5.0, may need to look through the forum to identify some of the fixes to allow modification of profiles once they are set. If I remember correctly it's two minor changes. These issues are corrected in later versions.

Yes it can be, but as is suggested time after time in the forum, if you have a development version of your site you can make all of the mistakes you want in order to figure things out and not affect business. On the other side of things, and although I don't personally own a copy, there is documentation available for store operators to walk you through the necessary steps to at least get through the basics. Not to mention the searchable FAQ and wiki.

Yes I think I will need to invest :smile:
