We recently discovered that the only shipping option being displayed to customers was a zone rate quote. The shipping module was uninstalled and reinstalled with no change in that problem.
Now this morning our payments through Authorize.net are not going through. The error displayed to customer is :

WARNING: Security hash problem. Please contact store-owner immediately. Your order has *not* been fully authorized.
Communications Error - Please notify webmaster. - Your credit card could not be authorized for this reason. Please correct the information and try again or contact us for further assistance.

here is the log file. Any clue or help on either issue would be most appreciated. Thanks

Dr byte, appreciate this. I donate every year. which do i do? zen donate or your grati pay button. and the grati pay says weekly...
I'd rather not do weekly because if I forget about it, could lost track of my finances that way. I like cut n dried transations when possible. I'm going to be a little late this year, maybe early next year as I just got hit with a huge dental bill. But I will donate...because I appreciate the help.

I had the same exact problem early this morning. I got that hash and communications error because of POODLE. At first I removed the AIM module and then reinstalled it; error still existed. After a heck of alot of research I ended up doing this - http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.p...64#post1263564 See POST #2.

After that everything worked completely fine.

Had this problem also after seeing recurrences of the same on and off over the past month. I had commented out the SSL 3 line earlier but some of the other changes in the file must have resolved whatever "communications error" Authorize.net was having. It's a bit of a mystery to me, but replacing the file with the one Dr. Byte posted seems to have done the trick, at least for now.

    Running ZC 1.5.0

We've tried commenting out the lines as indicated in http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.p...yment-security

We've tried replacing the authorizenet_aim with the zip file posted in another thread

    We've tried upgrading the module:

You should be able to use the authnet module from v1.5.4 on v1.5.1 without problem.

    /includes/modules/payment/authorizenet_aim.php
    /includes/languages/english/modules/payment/authorizenet_aim.php

We've reset the MD5 hash in Authorize.net and ZC to be sure they are the same.

We've verified that it's not a CURL problem with our hosting provider by speaking to them and by running /extras/curltester.php

Still getting the [HashMatchStatus] => FAIL error.

Kind of at my wits end here. Any other thoughts?

Turn on Debug-log-to-file and then do a transaction. Then post the AIM_Debug-xxxxx.log file from your /cache/ folder.
