" An error occurred when we tried to contact the payment processor. Please try again, select an alternate payment method, or contact the store owner for assistance. () - (7) Failed to connect to 173.0.88.69: Permission denied"

I have google and looked to search for whats doing it till I'm blue in the face

    My server info is this

"(7) Failed to connect to 173.0.88.69: Permission denied" is coming from CURL on your hosting server.
Best to talk to your hosting company to get them to fix whatever is blocking the connection.

Additionally, there's a CURL testing script you can use to simplify troubleshooting of this sort of problem. It's located at /shop/extras/curltester.php
But, since your hosting company is running PHP as CGI, you'll need to edit the /shop/extras/.htaccess file and remove the text "-ExecCGI" from the end of the file. And then you (and your hosting company tech staff) will be able to access the curltester.php file with your browser.
