Broke Html order confirmation emails - only showing code

Please post the contents of that email file here as code or text rather than a screenshot, so I can paste it into my test site's file and possibly reproduce the problem.

Your post says you're using v1.5.0 (which is from 2011).
Which files in /includes/classes/ and /includes/functions/ are not currently identical to original v150 code, and why?

I looked at /includes/classes/order.php and I did not change anything but I uploaded the original from my computer just in case.

I have not touched anything in /includes/functions/

Okay, then it's time to inspect all files on your site to study and understand every alteration in order to determine which change has suddenly broken things.

I've had the line break problem before many years ago and its due to me being on a Mac.
WinMerge is PC only do you have any Mac programs suggestions?

I'm also planning on upgrading but when I imported my data base it was not the correct php version so I need to do some research to see what I can do about it.

FWIW I've used a Mac for the past 6 years and rarely have line-ending issues nowadays.

I'll update and let everyone know what happened if/when I figure it out.

I just talked to one of my customers and thankfully she got the basic text order confirmation. I think all my customers are getting the text version not sure why. I doubt anyone signs up for text versions. I went through and looked at a few customer settings and they all chose HTML for some unknown reason.

Is it because you've got your store defaults set to sign them up for HTML by default?

For the time-being, if you want to force text-only messages (ie: for this week until you can sort it out after this week's sales), set MIME HTML to off in Admin->Configuration->Email Options.
